Initial situation:

Aphaia Pharma is headquartered in Zug, Switzerland, and has a global team of experts in Switzerland, the US, and Canada. The company has consolidated its clinical and commercial development and manufacturing with a GMP-certified partner in Puerto Rico. Since its founding in 2018, Aphaia has been led by a team of experienced biotech and pharmaceutical executives, private equity experts, and scientists with a solid background in basic and clinical research and a proven track record in founding and leading medical companies. The company develops targeted drug formulations for the treatment and prevention of metabolic disorders such as obesity and related diseases.

Procedure:

The initial goal of the joint collaboration is to analyze the current situation, select suitable tools, and develop a common basis as a prerequisite for further steps. Building on this, controlling instruments and the concept of the controlling system will be defined in order to subsequently link a central database with the reporting system. As a result, controlling will be created and evaluated for the group of companies and to support management.

Aufbauend wird der Geschäftsführung in regelmäßigen Abständen eine Auswertung über die Entwicklungen der einzelnen Geschäftsbereiche, explizit der klinischen Studien, gegeben.

Result:

The joint project enabled Aphaia Pharma to ensure targeted optimization and efficient management of the company. The development of a customized controlling system created a central database that integrates all business areas. This foundation enables continuous monitoring of the company's development and supports management with regular evaluations. The result is optimized corporate management that facilitates sound strategic decisions in the pharmaceutical and biotech industry and ensures the company's successful development in the long term.
